We put together a whole 6/8 60BPM ballad, with grooves taken from our upcoming Songwriter series vol. 3 – Ballads, and you can download it for free by clicking the link below. Just like all OddGrooves products, it’s all MIDI. This means that you can easily change the song structure if you like, or why not cut it up into smaller parts and switch things around in your DAW. Or change the tempo, velocity, delete parts? You can even *gasp* quantize it (but seriously, don’t). Recorded live by pro drummer Magnus Brandell, arranged for lots of different drum samplers (see below), and also 100% royalty free – even for commercial productions.

We recorded a couple of examples, using some grooves from the upcoming ballad pack. Please note that the full clips are mixed and mastered, while the “drums only” clips were bounced as-is from Logic without any added effects, EQ or compression.
