Here are a selection of free drum grooves (all played by Magnus Brandell) that were recorded for the song Footsteps in the Water by Sophie Bickerdike. I put together 85 bars, or just over 3 1/2 minutes of Magnus’ drumming into one long MIDI file that you can use completely royalty-free in your own songs, either as a whole or chopped-up into smaller pieces. You can edit the grooves, loop them, shorten, change the tempo or even quantise if you’re into that. All up to you!
