A while ago, I was playing around with a cover version of Rival Sons’ excellent tune Open My Eyes, just for fun. Such a good song! My version sounded pretty bland though, especially with my lame vocals, which are very far away from Jay Buchanan. The first draft also had my programmed drums, which weren’t very exciting at all. But then Magnus stopped by the studio and started doing his thing, and suddenly the track started to come to life. And when Emelie Rosenqvist lent us her bluesy, soulful voice, I felt the song was worthy of sharing with the world.

And so I thought, what if we use Magnus’ drum track as a giveaway for all of OddGrooves’ customers, friends and visitors? Well, of course we should!
