There should be two things every potential OddGrooves customer should know: Drums by Magnus Brandell and Not quantized! Magnus Brandell, as far as I’m concerned is the Dennis Chambers of Europe. These grooves can go from the front of the pocket to the back and never loose the flow. As much as I like writing Jazz and Progressive the Magnus Brandell Signature 4/4 Drumming pack is my favorite. Buy that pack and load it up to your favorite Drum Sampler and find out what a bad bad man Magnus Brandell is.

I’ve been an OddGroves client since year one and I own almost every Library. I use it with Superior, Slate Drums, Addictive Drums and Abbey Road, Just Brilliant! Per is not so bad either but OG doesn’t sell guitar loops….. Yet…..Lastly, the email service is quick and thorough even to the US where I reside. OddGrooves is a win win and has been for years.

I’ve been using OddGrooves midi with Addictive Drums, to create drum tracks for almost 2 years now. If I need to put together drum tracks fast, I usually can find some Magnus groove that fits perfectly. And with the AD Kits that I have, they sound awesome! For me, OddGrooves are some of the best and most affordable drum tracks available.

I’ve been programming drums since the 80s (HR-8) and even though sequencers kept getting better, I could never get the feel for jazz drums. This takes that need to the next level with 7/4 jams. Admittedly, with so many to choose from, there is a lot of overlap, but that saves time “fixing” them. My first purchase from OG, and probably not my last.

    Excellent, naturally sounding grooves

MIDI for drum fill-ins is useful. This pack contains more than one, and it is also possible to rearrange and arrange them further. It can also be used as a reference for ideas.
